Our mission at #SHOPSMALLHAWAII is to provide business resources and tools to small businesses in Hawaii. We do this through educational workshops, promotions & special events in collaboration with community partners.

The Shop Small Hawaii initiative is a year-round celebration of our local small businesses, culminating with an annual celebration on “Small Business Saturday” the Saturday after Thanksgiving.

Shop Small Hawaii was established in 2017 to build stronger communities by raising awareness of the impact small businesses have in our neighborhoods, by providing them with online marketing, educational tools, and resources for growth, and recognizing small business owner’s for their contribution to Hawaii’s economy.

If you are a small business owner, or if you are or would like to be a champion for Hawaii's small businesses, join us and help promote Shop Small Hawaii in your neighborhood.

“As we celebrate our 5th anniversary I’d like to thank our loyal members for being a part of our small business community, and for their many contributions to our local economy”

— Terri Funakoshi, Committee Chair
